Our story

A little more prepared.
A little less alone.

Asylia began with a simple concern: when someone needs help, the information that could make a difference is often hard to find.

A table of family photographs, a notebook, and reminders about being prepared.

From an idea
to an app

Ready for what
life brings.

The moment behind the idea.

Important papers can be in a drawer, in an inbox, or with somebody else. Health details might be written down in one place, while the number you need is saved in another.

On an ordinary day, that is easy to put off. When circumstances change, it can become one more thing to work through.

Shawn Martin brought the original idea for Asylia: make it easier to keep important information together, see what needs attention, and choose what to share with someone you trust.

Practical help, before it’s urgent.

We want preparation to feel manageable. A useful place to start. A clearer overview. One small step at a time.

That means building around everyday information—documents, health details, insurance papers, and contacts—and thinking carefully about how people could help each other without giving up control of their own information.

Now we’re building it together.

Shawn, Christoffer, and Shivan are bringing the idea into an app. The work is still in progress. The screens you see here are part of that process, and we’ll share more as the first release takes shape.

This website is a place to understand the product, follow its development, and find practical ways to begin getting your own information in order.

The next chapter

Be there from
the beginning.

Follow our progress and hear when Asylia is ready. We’re building for people living alone, families, and anyone caring for someone else.

We’re working toward an early version in 2027, starting in the United States.
